We build portals where your customers or members log in to place orders, check their account, download documents, make bookings and renew memberships. The portal is connected to the system that holds the data, so what a customer sees is what your ERP or CRM holds, and what they submit goes straight into it.

We build software for internal processes that have outgrown a spreadsheet. This includes job management, rostering, quoting, stock control, compliance records and reporting. The tool is built around the way your team works and is connected to your ERP or accounting system where that data already lives.

We build and maintain the connections between systems. Where two platforms need to share data and there is no existing connector, we write one, document it and support it after it goes live.

This is most of the work behind an integration. An ERP has an API, a website has an API, and something has to sit between them that knows which records to move, when to move them, what to do when a field does not match and how to tell someone when it fails. We build that layer on AWS, log every transaction so it can be traced, and set up alerts so a failed sync is caught the same day rather than at month end.

We also build APIs for your own systems. If you have a platform or a database that other businesses, suppliers or apps need to read from or write to, we build the API, the authentication and the documentation so it can be used without a phone call to your developer.

We build software that you sell to other businesses or run as a service. This covers the first prototype through to a platform with paying users, including hosting, security and ongoing support.

We also build our own products. Yak records and transcribes meetings and manages how that information is used with AI. Harold runs prospecting research and outreach on its own. Both are in use at Publica and with clients, so we know what it takes to get a product from an idea to something people rely on every day.

A lot of people now arrive with something they have already started. It might be a vibe coded app, a prototype, a working demo, or something a small group of users are already on. That is a good place to start from. What it usually needs next is a proper data model, authentication, hosting that scales, security that will pass a customer's review and a codebase your team can maintain.
