Prior to bringing Publica on board, Vendella was operating an e-commerce site built on Magento. The platform, however, quickly proved to be difficult to integrate with necessary software and costly to migrate and maintain.

Looking for a site that’s purpose built for their business and enables the team to sell products online with accuracy and ease, Vendella called on Publica to design and develop a new solution.

Our team utilised the WordPress CMS and built a custom e-commerce solution to create a site that connects seamlessly with other systems and software. Integrated with Unleashed, Vendella receives real-time inventory management information and customers can place and track their orders easily online. With the cloud software suite Zoho, the team also manages their sales, marketing and support simultaneously. 

To serve the needs of a diverse customer base within the single site, the new homepage asks visitors to self-select whether they fall into Vendella’s Guest, Care or Supply sector. Depending on the selection, users are then navigated to the appropriate buyer persona page with customised and audience-specific content. 

Looking to fine-tune the site search to increase engagement and deliver a personalised and flexible search and discovery experience, we added Algolia into the new WordPress website. The project team also configured tiered pricing based on specific customer and user roles to help Vendella boost their conversions and set up multiple payment methods to provide customers with a range of options to pay for their purchase.
