Creative partners since 2016, Jazz & Blues tasks Publica with reimagining the look and feel of the festival’s offering every year.
For 2019’s festival we found inspiration in the 60s. We saw this decade as an explosion of expression; Art Nouveau-inspired curvilinear shapes and intense optical vibrations inspired pop art of the time. A vision we translated through website design and development, programme design, and digital advertising design.
Our approach was to use 60’s style bright colours, overlaid with black and white imagery and mod-style circular patterns to create an energy and tension in the creative.
