Publica teamed up with Builderscrack to rebrand and reposition their company and then redesign their key customer touchpoint – their digital platform. We began by looking at Builderscrack strategic position based on their core strengths as these would form the foundation of our creative work. Builderscrack identified strengths were reliability, trust, delivery and technology.
The new identity needed to be a complete departure from the previous brand to reflect these qualities. Publica created a clean new look brand introducing with a fresh and vibrant colour palette, a stylised house roof and green ‘tick’ giving a nod to the professional standard to which all tradesmen are held formed part of the brand logo.
The digital design and user experience of the site was first planned by wireframing prior to design mapping out the user stories and journeys. The resulting website is simple to use and effortless to understand, Publica developed an imagery-led journey using bespoke illustrations to guide users through their service offering.
The result – a renewed focus and a fresh brand to take Builderscrack forward into the future.
