The Mike Pero Real Estate (MPRE) team needed a comprehensive digital platform that would work for each and every user group. At MPRE, this not only means the end-user but also their extensive network of 180+ nationwide, franchisee real-estate agents. At the front-end, this required an appealing and intuitive design – one that would showcase the properties, offices and agents authentically, and to their full potential. In the back-end – the MPRE ‘Portal’ was built to be easy to use and to co-operate with the needs of agents, many of who were previously unfamiliar with using a Content Management System.



The reverse brief is key to the Publica process – it a real strength of our project managers. Presented as a scope document, we captured the purpose and expected results behind the structure and capabilities of the platform. Extracting the requirements and articulating the key specifications between the client and project team was the first ‘to-do’ to tick off. Before long, our Publica people became experts in real estate business logic, and the unique and complex relationship matrix of MPRE.



The Publica project team’s contribution was influential in the planning phase as much as the execution. Scope formulation proved to be an evolving process, providing opportunity to showcase the ways in which our design and development approach could elevate the platform, adding functionality and innovation to transform the base concept. Documentation covered the complexities of the digital strategy, always speaking in both technical and layman’s terms. This way all members of the client team could be on board with the vision.



Publica people work to add value over and above a client’s brief – partnering with MPRE was no exception. The team delivered a high-functioning platform structure and process. How? By strategically developing an interface design optimised for end-user and internal usability. MPRE came to us with a challenge, and we delivered a complete digital platform – the back end of which now allows their 200+ agents to upload content, manage advertising and automate client gifting.

As their ongoing technical partner, our relationship with MPRE continues to go from strength to strength.
